Photos

The RVD owns all rights to the high resolution images under this heading. The photographs may be downloaded for private use and for non-commercial, educational purposes or for editorial purposes by the media. No advance permission is required to place the photographs on objects for everyday use intended for circulation. However, the RVD reserves the right to take action at a later date if a photograph is published in a fashion that, in its judgment, is incompatible with the dignity of the Royal House or can be considered as promotional use, use for commercial purposes, or use to disseminate particular ideas. The RVD will not respond to questions from third parties about the possibility that legal or other action will be taken in given circumstances.
